Big Day Event Tipis Wedding Showcase in Herne, Kent
Outdoor Boho Luxe Wedding Photography and Inspiration for Stylish Couples
Are you dreaming of an outdoor wedding? Do you love bohemian feels, nature inspired decoration, artisan food and drink, games and relaxed festival feel to your wedding? Yet you want to provide luxurious feel, comfortable stylish space for your guests? More like glamping than camping sort of stuff?
Look no more. A couple of weeks ago The Big Day Event Tipis invited me and other hand picked suppliers to create a wedding showcase for couples planning their outdoor boho wedding.
Here is a bunch of photos to inspire you and visualise your plans!
First step is to find a company that will provide the most important element – a flexible indoor/outdoor backdrop to your wedding. The Big Day Event Tipis offer Authentic Nordic Tipis that are modular and can cater for intimate and large weddings. With twinkling lights and even an indoor fire you can create a wonderful Nordic atmosphere for your wedding. The company is run by Sonja and Scott – my past wedding couple! I am super excited about their adventure – they are both visionary, world travelling people and a pleasure to deal with.
The styling is pretty much up to you, but if you would like to create a gorgeous boho luxe wedding you may be interested in hiring a stylist and props. Locate to create have a vast range of gorgeous pieces, wooden arches and other props to hire. I fell in love with pampas grass and dry foliage decorations and those wicker chairs!
Holly is simply amazing at putting your vision together to create magical and eye catching displays. You can also add vintage crockery and glassware to complete your boho luxe feel – Harriet’s table supply these for all types of woodland, boho, tipi weddings. Alternatively, if you prefer rustic and nature inspired enamel plates and mugs, check Enamel Factory.
You can add foliage and hanging floral decorations to freshen the look and Kent based The Floral Madam will be perfect for this job. Check her work below.
Outdoor wedding, woodland location, but what do we do about an accommodation you ask?
There is a solution for that too. You can hire these luxurious bell tents that come with stylish interiors, inflatable beds and real bedding! Beneath the Canopy can even provide a whole village of tents for your guests.
For real festival wedding feels do not forget to add colourful flags, perfect for marking the route to your tipi wedding or making an aisle for your outdoor ceremony. Love these flags by Event Flag Hire.
For your catering needs you should check The Herb Kitchen, Stoned Pizza and Bumber Bars, All Shapes Cakes and of course Goody Ales – a microbrewery where we had this showcase.
To complete planning of your tipi wedding you may want to use a celebrant who will create a beautiful and original ceremony just for the two of you. It also means you can hold your ceremony wherever you like (and do the legal bit another time). Cass – The Storyteller Celebrant is your woman.
And lastly, I’d love to photograph your boho tipi wedding so do not forget to check my wedding galleries here.
