Engagement photography along Lime Cut in East London
Natasha + Simon
Living in London means there is an abundance of places for quirky and cool photography. I have my favourite spots, but I was glad that Natasha and Simon suggested to meet at Spratt’s Complex near Poplar instead. The apartments around the complex match the industrial feel of the factory and I had a feeling that I am in New York and not in East London. Red brick, loft style flats that were connected by green fire escape staircases reminded me of ”Friends”. We wandered around the complex and nearby Lime Cut canal and took some relaxed engagement photos. It was a chilly wintery day but splashes of emerald green colour present around added a nice contrast to industrial vibe of this part of East London. In the last 15 years since I moved to London I have visited and lived in lots of places but somehow I had never got to visit this East London location. It is now on my list of great places for a quirky London engagement photography.
Natasha and Simon are getting married in winter at the Asylum Chapel in Peckham and I cannot wait to be their wedding photographer.
Here is a selection of my favourites.
