Editorial wedding photography near Andaz Hotel in London

Happy confetti exit outside 1901Ballroom. The couple was blessed with gorgeous sunshine on this March day!
Emily and Mark envisioned a wedding day that broke away from tradition – something relaxed, luxurious, and centred around celebrating with their closest friends and family. Their Andaz wedding photography perfectly reflects this vision.
From the very beginning, the day was filled with energy, laughter, and effortless elegance. Champagne flowed, the food was exceptional, and every moment felt genuine and unforced. It wasn’t just a wedding – it was a full-on celebration. And what a party it turned out to be.
The couple also did not want to spend much time away from the guests (or posing), so we nipped out for a quick walk around the corner from Andaz Hotel. The strong wintery light was exactly what I needed to create some editorial, yet gently guided portraits in a few minutes.

Ditch the cake and have a champagne tower instead!

There is never too much confetti, I promise!

Sometimes you have to look up to see an amazing spot for a non traditional wedding photo – this round staircase is a modern touch at Andaz Hotel
It was my first work as Andaz London wedding photographer. The natural light of 1901 Ballroom, grand interiors, and varied scenery create endless opportunities for stunning imagery. We cannot forget about the marble staircase!
Emily looked absolutely radiant, and Mark couldn’t take his eyes off her. Every detail – from the décor to the candid moments on the dance floor – came together beautifully. Their trust made it possible to document the day authentically, resulting in a collection of images that truly reflect the spirit of their celebration.
This 1901 Ballroom wedding photography story is a perfect example of how a venue, a vision, and a great atmosphere can come together to create something extraordinary.
Emily and Mark – thank you for your trust. You both were so lovely to work with, and your day couldn’t have gone more perfectly.
