BASH jumpsuit/ a stylish London wedding

Intimate London wedding photography

Solène + Alex

It was a beautiful early summer day when Solène and Alex got married in Central London. They wanted an intimate wedding surrounded by closest family and friends. Read more about their love story and wedding planning below.

This wedding was shot by Joasis Photography associate Aggie – we cannot get enough of how stylish the bride looked and creative portraits taken on the day.

Here is what Solène and Alex think about us!

We saw JOASIS website and knew straight away that we wanted to work with them! JOASIS team is absolutely amazing, kind, creative, artistic and a pleasure to work with. Aggie was wonderful on the day of the wedding, she made us feel so comfortable from the start, she was as discrete as a mouse when she was taking documentary shots and she knew how to direct us when we did our couple shots. I could not recommend JOASIS photography more. We love the pictures! They capture our wedding so well. THANK YOU!!

Our love story

We met in Paris through a mutual friend when Alex was working there. We met again in London two years later and we fell in love! We had a long distance relationship for a while and I finally moved to London and then we moved to Dubai in November 2016. We got engaged in February 2017 . Alex took me to an incredible place in the desert but a massive sand storm happened on that day! It actually made the day even more special, it was 10°C and we couldn’t see anything – it looked like time had stopped! The next day was gorgeous and we were able to enjoy the views on the desert.

Our wedding

We chose to get married in Camden Town hall as we were looking for a nice and cosy room with character. We love The Lady Ottoline as it’s a warm pub, great decor and lovely staff. We really wanted to have an intimate wedding. Our vows were not tailored but we chose a ceremony that was light, spiritual and uplifting. The other ones that were proposed were too heavy and serious for our liking 🙂 The readings were a mix of French and English poems/stories. Once again spiritual, light and uplifting!

The details

Alex looked absolutely handsome when he tried The Kooples 3 pieces suit, so it was a pretty easy decision! I tried probably 30 different outfits and when I tried my jumpsuit, it ticked all the boxes: open back, high wasted, comfortable, chic and not conservative! We wanted light countryside flowers nothing heavy or too weddingish, and there were absolutely gorgeous…
