Dartmouth House wedding photography

Kenia and Robbie got married in a family church in Wimbledon and hosted their colourful and stylish wedding reception at the exquisite Dartmouth House in Mayfair, London. The day started at the Mitre Hotel- a boutique hotel in Hampton. The bridal suite with colourful decor and an abundance of natural light was a dream place for preparations and photos. Especially as bridesmaids wore block colour dresses with matching bouquets!

The couple preferred organic and documentary wedding photography for their day, and I was excited to capture the day both on film and digital cameras in an unobtrusive and relaxed way.

Here is a selection of memories from this chic Dartmouth House wedding.

THE EXPERIENCE as a Dartmouth House wedding photographer

I adored working with the couple and being part of their relaxed, yet chic wedding day at the Dartmouth House. Here is what Kenia said about their experience:

“The photos capture the colour and energy of the day beautifully. The film pictures are so rich I love them. Absolutely gorgeous.

Working with Jo was a dream. The streamlined process in the lead up to the wedding (it was very obvious that she was a project manager in a previous life!) was such a relief while trying to juggle normal life and wedding planning. She gave so much genuinely useful advice in the lead up, and I felt the day went more smoothly for it.

On the day, Jo and her team were fabulous. I didn’t want to spend too much time posing for photos and despite me being a bit annoying in this sense, she managed to get all of the money shots! I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome.”

This stunning Dartmouth House wedding has also been featured by Love My Dress wedding magazine!

“The couple had a strong vision from the start: a courtyard cocktail hour with bold florals, Mexican music and a dose of party energy, set against the backdrop of a grand British venue. Dartmouth House delivered all of this and more, with its elegant interiors and that magical outdoor space for dancing, drinks and surprise piñatas.

Kenia wore a beautiful Sept gown (that’s pronounced ‘Set’ and is a Sarah Seven brand) which she found at Heart Aflutter, a much-loved East London boutique known for its modern, fashion-forward bridalwear. Joasis Photography, whose warm, editorial eye is a favourite here at Love My Dress, captured every rich detail and joyful moment of the day.”
