Carrie + Matt
I loved this stylish wedding at industrial Trinity Buoy Wharf venue – the Electrician’s Shop!
Two cool cats accompanied by their baby girl, bunch of friends and family got married at one of the best London warehouse wedding venues – the Trinity Buoy Wharf and what an awesome day it was! Carrie and Matt had a wonderful vision for their wedding and I was super chuffed to be picked as their Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding photographer. Have a look at this selection of cool wedding photographs taken in predominantly documentary way. Beside capturing the day as it unfolds in front of my eyes, I also love taking wedding portraits. Trinity Buoy Wharf offers an abundance of quirky and industrial locations for photos. Following very rainy morning, we were blessed both with a rainbow and sunshine in the afternoon.
The ceremony was held in atmospheric Electrician’s Shop decorated with fairy lights and candles (a bit tricky lighting photography wise but how gorgeous this place looks!) – the couple chose this venue because of the intimate atmosphere and it fit well ‘lunar theme’ of their wedding. The ‘altar’ had gorgeous floral half moon.
The guests then walked across to second Trinity Buoy Wharf venue – gorgeous warehouse style The Chainstore for the dinner and party. This white wall studio had wooden tables, royal blue and gold details and big foliage installation with neon sign: ‘Baby, I am yours” on fairy lights filled wall. Paper lampshades hung from the ceiling were pretty cool too. Guests spilled on the river bank overlooking O2 for reception drinks and canapes.
In the evening, after Matt and Carrie performed fabulous first dance, an awesome brass band took over the stage and entertained the guests. They certainly knew how to party – a lot of them work in the radio industry so the dance floor was full!
Carrie and Matt celebrated this special day with their daughter and pretty much a part of all key events that day. Carrie looked dazzling in stylish Jenny Packham dress and Matt wore royal blue tailored suit – gorgeous couple!
Their wedding was relaxed, fun and all about spending good time with their friends and family.
Aggie and I had such a good fun photographing The Electrician’s Shop wedding and it is always a pleasure to work as Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding photographer!
