Granary Square and King’s Cross London Engagement Shoot

Granary Square and King’s Cross London Engagement Photography

Elly + Sam

If you follow my blog you may have noticed I share many London engagement photos here. I simply love these shoots! I am always on a look out for cool and interesting places in London that provide different backdrops to our engagement photos. This time I met with Elly and Sam one evening after work so the location had to be both convenient and great for photos. It has been ages since my last engagement photography in Granary Square and King’s Cross but I secretly hoped there would still be colourful fencing at this never-ending building site there.

We were super lucky with golden light and warm temperatures that evening. After a stroll near King’s Cross we went to Granary Square for more engagement photos there. After taking some photos we sat down to chat about their upcoming wedding. I always appreciate having a London engagement shoot with my wedding couples as it gives us this opportunity to meet in person for the second, or occasionally first, time and discuss the timeline in more detail.

Afterwards, to our delight, we stumbled upon new colourful fencing around new blocks there. It really made my heart jump up and down a bit as not only I found it offers symmetry, unusual angles and that pop of colour I really like in my engagement photos.  Granary Square and King’s Cross are now definitely on top of my list for excellent London engagement photography locations!
