The Westminster Boating Base London Wedding

Artistic Wedding Photography at the Westminster Boating Base

Summer in London can be a bit temperamental but the weather for this whimsical and romantic wedding of Naomi and Jake was something from dreams! Hot and sunny with clear blue skies throughout the day what was particularly enjoyable during a boat trip to the wedding venue. London summer wedding goals!

We started the day at Mariott Hotel in West India Quay where Naomi was getting ready with her bridesmaids – perfect setting as the view on the Docks was so calming. The ceremony and cocktails took place in St. Paul’s Church in Shadwell. From there we all jumped on a bus and then on a boat to cruise on the Thames from Canary Wharf to the Westminster Boating Base. Imagine having a cold drink in your hand and enjoying London views on your way to a wedding party!

As the weather was so lovely, the reception drinks and speeches were held in the Westminster Boating Base garden space. With guests sitting on the grass and children making bubbles it felt like one big family picnic. Speeches were hilarious by the way! I photographed this wedding as a second photographer for my friend Claudia Rose Carter and this is my take on this gorgeous London wedding:

something to say?
