London Barbican Engagement Photography

We adore Barbican – the area filled with Brutalist architecture characterised by raw concrete walls, symmetrical construction and towering blocks over the Barbican Centre. It is a great source of inspiration for London photographers. We always get fascinated how many different ways there are of using architectonic lines and available light to compose photos. The area is full of amazing photo backdrops! Last winter we photographed a wedding of Natasha and Thomas at Barbican Conservatory – yet another stunning place in the Centre.

We are super happy that Alex and Alexandra agree with us to shoot their engagement shoot there. After spending some time in and around Barbican Centre we walked towards Spitalfields for some street art spotting. Dali mural is particularly impressive and since I love Dali’s work we just had to take a photo with it! Beside taking photos, we chatted about books, cycling and swimming in freezing cold water (Alex is doing a triathlon soon). I love the feeling of clicking with couples instantly – we could easily sit down for a drink and talk all evening!

Alex  and Alex – hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do.

London Wedding Photography

As London wedding photographers, we definitely have the best job in the world – meeting super nice and interesting people, listening to their love story and of course, taking photos of their beautiful faces. Pure pleasure. We can’t wait to photograph Alex and Alex’s London wedding at the Brewery this summer.

And if you liked these engagement photos head to see more of London pre- wedding photography. I love photographing couples whether it is to document an engagement, a proposal, a pre-wedding shoot, an anniversary, or simply to have a set of cool pictures of you as a couple.  If you like my artistic and alternative approach to wedding photography, drop me a line.
