Tower Bridge engagement photography

I met with Kat and Phil in Shad Thames – historic part of London with converted warehouses and cobbled streets. It is lesser known area of London between Tower Bridge and Tooley Street and not that crowded as western part of Southbank. That is where we started our photo shoot and completed it with ‘surprise’ Tower Bridge engagement photography.

There ought to be a bit of a back story to this as you will see that Kat was not sporting the usual ‘wow, he proposed’ kinda face! So here it is –  Kat and Phil had been engaged for about a year already. I asked them to do something funny and that’s what happened. I loved it as it shows how much fun these two have together! Oh and they did some jumping too.  That looked pretty cool against that colourful wall near Tower Bridge.

Beside the fun factor I wanted to create something different than other engagement photos I had taken recently. I played with prism a lot and searched for an interesting light while we walked around Shad Thames.

Check these photos out.

Kat and Phil – hope you love these! Thanks for being so cool.

We are super excited to be their Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding photographers very soon.

And if you liked these engagement photos check these London pre- wedding photography shoots. I love photographing couples whether it is to document an engagement, a proposal, a pre-wedding shoot, an anniversary, or simply to have a set of cool pictures of you as a couple. My engagement shoots are also still complimentary with any wedding collections booked. If you like my artistic and alternative approach to wedding photography, drop me a line.
