A Summer Wedding at The Old Marylebone Town Hall and reception at Lordship Pub

On what turned out to be one of the hottest days of summer 2024, I had the absolute privilege of capturing Rich and Egle’s beautiful London wedding at The Old Marylebone Town Hall and the Lordship Pub. The couple specifically booked me as I create both digital and film wedding photography and additionally I worked at both venues before.

First Look

The day kicked off with a quiet, intimate first look at the charming Dorset Square Hotel, a hidden gem in the heart of London. Egle got ready in one of its beautiful boutique rooms, just a short stroll from Old Marylebone Town Hall. This romantic first look before the ceremony gave us time to slow down and soak it all in. We captured gorgeous portraits in the soft morning light. It also helped set a relaxed tone for the rest of the day. And yes – some happy tears made an early appearance!

Film Wedding Photography in London

The first look was the perfect moment to capture some editorial-style images. Using my trusted 35mm film cameras, I documented a mix of candid and elegant moments between Rich and Egle. We didn’t need hours – just a short 15-minute walk filled with intention and creativity. As a film wedding photographer, I believe the best photos come from collaboration. I offer gentle guidance and use light and composition with care. Still, it’s the couple’s love, connection, and energy that truly bring the magic to life. Even better, if you’re up for embracing the wind, rain, or harsh light – those often turn out to be the most real and unforgettable shots.

Laid Back reception at the Lordship Pub

After a romantic and emotional wedding ceremony completed with a photogenic confetti exit, we took a few more portraits on the iconic steps of the town hall before setting off to the next location. The vintage bus transported us to the Lordship Pub in South London. This wedding venue offers a relaxed setting for a wedding reception, with elevated dining experience and traditional pub interiors.
